In our on-going effort of poker education, we’re hitting Caribbean Stud this week. It’s got enticing payouts, interesting rules and is the perfect time killer when you’re waiting for that next tournament to start.
You can check out the rules of Caribbean Stud, but here are the basics:
5-card poker game
Single deck is used
You play against the dealer
You must Ante, then decide if you want to bet against the dealer (double ante)
Dealer must qualify
Jackpot bet is separate (Jackpot pays, even if dealer beats your hand)
It’s a tough-ish game to describe, but an easy game to play. Get out there and give it a try while you’re waiting for the Guaranteed $50K next Sunday.
