Nov 5th Thanksgiving Jackpot Update

The CarbonPoker Thanksgiving jackpot has grown by over $1000 in the last 24 hours. You guys are rabid!

As of 13:06:24 Server Time on November 5, 2009 (that’s official!), the Jackpot is weighing in at $7,289.25. And that’s pre-cooked.

You guys still have 3.5 weeks to baste that into a pretty insane prizepool for the heads up leaderboard championship. Remember, you need to finish in the top 128 to get a spot and try for the payout.

Updated Turkey Grand Slam Jackpot is Over $6K

6K Turkey CashWe are only four days into the Turkey Grand Slam and the jackpot is growing like crazy.

The good people at CarbonPoker seeded the jackpot with $2,500 and you players have jacked it up to over $6K already. If that’s not enough motivation to work your way up the leader board, I’m not sure you should even keep reading this.

As I told you before, half of each Turkey Jackpot SnG gets thrown into the Final Tourney Jackpot. The top 128 players on the Thanksgiving leader board will face off in a unique starting stack heads up bracket tourney (say that 3 times fast) at the end of the promotion.

Gobble Gobble – It’s the Turkey Grand Slam

The November Promotion at CarbonPoker is awesome. It’s a month long SitnGo extravaganza with points, cash and stuffing — all culminating in a 128-man Heads Up Championship!

Here’s how it works: From November 1-30, Carbon is running specially added Turkey Jackpot SitnGos. Each time you play in one of these events you have the opportunity to earn Turkey Points and build the eventual jackpot.

Another Day, Another Bad Beat Jackpot

carbonpokerpicThe CarbonPoker Bad Beat Jackpot as once again paid out! This is the third time in 1 month.

We know with the lowest qualifier online (Quad 7s or better losing), our Jackpot would be more frequent, but lately the RNGs have been dealing up bad beats at a frantic pace.

Just this morning, starterkit’s Queen High Straigh Flush bested GLADIATOR8791’s Quad 8s in a hand with a $23 pot on one of our Bad Beat Jackpot Tables. You know the rest.

$42,633.32 was awarded to GLADIATOR8791 and starterkit’s bankroll was padded with an additional $21,316.66. A slice of $3,045.23 was handed out to the remaining 7 players at the table — proving once again that losing can be profitable. CarbonPoker is the home of Bad Beats lately.

Because the Jackpots have gone off so often lately, these guys weren’t close to our $1.2Million Bad Beat Jackpot payout, but I’m sure they’ll still take it.

PRESS RELEASE: CarbonPoker Pays Out Two Bad Beat Jackpots in Ten Days

CarbonPoker awards over $760,000 to two Bad Beat Jackpot winners in less than two weeks.

Dublin, Ireland. October 2, 2009 – The CarbonPoker Bad Beat Jackpot has paid out yet again – for the second time in ten days. Lucky players have won more than $760,000 in this short period of time.

A Bad Beat Jackpot pays out when a player loses a showdown with a premium hand of Quad Sevens or better. This is the lowest qualifier in the industry and enables quite a bit of excitement on the Bad Beat Tables.

Early this morning, rangerjay1 earned $58, 456.93 as his Four Kings lost to callmeguys ($29,228.46) and his Royal Flush. These massive payouts came from a pot of $74.58. The seven remaining players at the table were also awarded $4,175.49 for being present during the momentous hand.

This came only ten days after baseball127 won $211,758.31 by losing with a straight flush.

CarbonPoker set the standard for Bad Beat Jackpots in February of 2009 as they paid out a world record setting $1.2 million. Well over $2.4 million has now been paid out.

As stated by CarbonPoker spokesman, Jay Manning: “When you think of the chances of hands like this happening so close together, it is just mind-boggling.
