Its been a while since I posted on here and I hope you all had a happy Christmas and a smashing New Years. On that note, with the coming of the New Year, many of us feel the need to take a look at our lives and set some goals and changes we would like to have. Why we do this particularly at the turn of the year I’m not sure but I think it has something to do with the common branding we give them as New Year’s resolutions.
Now each of us ardent poker players I’m sure would more than likely wish to improve or change one or more aspects about our games. So here’s a few common ones you might want to take into consideration for your new years resolutions. And NO! Its not to late to be making them now!
Manage your bankroll better. Its so tempting to log in and play the $1/$2 no limit tables, the wins are bigger and actually worth something compared to the 2c/4c micro limits. However the losses are just as bad and this is a sure fire strategy to loose your bankroll over and over. I’m not saying don’t play the larger limits at times, but make sure you can afford it or are only going on a one of splurge!
