New Poker Reality Series Scheduled for this Summer

2 Months, 2 Million actually looks pretty good. While most TV poker follows a pretty standard formula (Turn, Flop, River, Hole Cam shots), every once in a while there are some cool concepts that look at the new face of poker, rather than dudes sitting around a table. I’m not just talking about Annie Duke on Celebrity Apprentice, either.

G4TV (Ed Note: I know. I hadn’t heard of it either) is launching the program 2 Months, 2 Million in August. The 10-episode run will follow four 20-something online poker players as they try and grind out $2Million over two months of high stakes action.

Info on the show has been pretty tight lately, but the four stars of the show are: Jason Rosenkrantz, Brian Roberts, Emil Patel and Dani Stern. These network-described “whiz-kids” are going to be pooling their bankrolls to try and take down this major payout as a group.

Expect a lot of poker action through the programming, but we’ve heard that it’s also going to detail all the fun and trouble that four buddies can get into in Las Vegas.

We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information as it comes out.
