I am looking forward to this, if it happens. The best part of this is that Leo already has a great deal of experience in big hand poker, he won that hand at the beginning of Titanic to win tickets for the ship that couldn’t sink. I’m guessing it’ll be “gritty”, but positive overall. For a lot of people, it could be their first exposure to the other side of online gambling — so hopefully it’s a favorable portrayal.

Could be very interesting…I just hope that it puts online gambling in a good light. With the UIEGA and the moral right standing where they are, we sure don’t need some big motion picture show that makes out like this is a dirty underhanded industry. That will just make the PPA and it’s members fight that much harder.

I would love to see this movie come out. rounders is one of my favorites, but an online gambling movie could be great…i mean is it going to show how someone gets addicted to it? or how someone makes it big from lets say winning an online satellite into a major tournement.
