Event 28 of the World Series of Poker wrapped up with Mike Eise proving his No-Limit skill with utterly superior play.
Eise not only progressed through the event, but was on a mission – knocking out more than a handful of players early on.
27 players entered the third and final day of the $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em event with the hopes of winning $639,331 and the bracelet.
Eise was the final table chip leader, went into heads up play with almost five times the chips as Jeff Chang. Mike was a truly dominant champion and deserved the $600k+. Congrats on the first bracelet.
This might have been one of the most aggressive and complete victories so far in the 2009 WSOP.
