Event 16 of the World Series of Poker sported a field of 359 players, a prize pool of $490,035, and a recognizable pro gunning for his second bracelet.
The $1,500 seven-card stud event brought out poker notables like John Juanda, Thor Hansen, John Cernuto and Jason Mercier, who finished 5th, 9th, 11th and 16th, respectively.
Jeffrey Lisandro beat out 358 other Seven-Card Stud players to take the $124,975 top payout. This brings Lisandro’s WSOP lifetime winnings up to $1.9Million. That comes from 10 appearances at final tables and 27 World Series cashes.
Second place finisher Rodney Pardey took $77,229 for his efforts and even got to play against his nephew, Eric (6th place), at the final table.
