Tom Dwan is back on top after an impressive 15 hour long stint against Patrick Antonius in the durrrr challenge.
I usually stay away from reporting on the durrrrrrrrrrr challllenggggee because it’s a little bit boring and self-indulgent, but this was a pretty crazy swing.
For those of you who haven’t been keeping track, the last time I checked in, Dwan was down about $640K in their high-stakes wank fest of 50,000 hands.
After last night’s marathon session, durrrr leads by $726,000. That’s a staggering swing of hot cards and aggressive betting from two of online poker’s high rolling stars.
In the 15+ hour session, Antonius took down the largest pot ($477,556), but there was plenty of action – including more than 40 pots worth over $100K – for Dwan to clean up on.
Apparently these guys are going to be playing again soon this week, and I hope it stays this exciting. Who knew it would take so long to play this many hands?
